What is the better combat assault rifle, the M16A2 or the AK-47?

The M16A2 is the modernized version of the original M16, firing an improved 5.56 cartridge, has metal hand guards and a thicker barrel. It still uses the same direct impingement system of the earlier model.

Depends on the range.

M16 is more accurate but less powerful

Ak47 is more powerful but higher recoil and not as accurate.

If i was in a jungle like in vietnam then obviously people would prefer ak47 because no matter like how much dirt hits the ak47, it lasts for a very long time.

M16 if you dont clean it then your m16 would jam.
