Nitro R/c Problem please help if u know a lot about Nitro cars!!?
i have an RTR Nitro RS4 3 and it has quite a Few problems
#1 - when i drive it around for a while, it works but when it comes to a complete stop, it turns off so i need to re start it up.
#2 - i have a THS exhaust pipe and its constantly getting loose Screws and slowly detatches from the engine itself.
#3 - when i use the nitro car for a while and finish, it ends up being extremely Messy and covered in a bunch of grease.
I know i have a lot of problems but i havnt used this thing in so long and totally forgot how to fix it all up so if any of u know how to fix ANY of these problems please let me know how to fix it, Thanks!
1. when your car comes to a complete stop, the engine cuts off. so adjust your idle on your engine so that when it brakes it doesnt cut off.
2. try using threadlock on the screws, that will solve that problem easily
3.yeah nitro car are messy and require more maintence then a eletric car. So after playing with it trying to clean it up. you might also want to try running it more lean by adjusting it on the engine and running a diff % of fuel. i prefer 20-30% the 10% fuel are more for airplanes.
