Lipo Battery help please?
I have a King Arms 11.1V 1100mAh 15C lipo battery. I use it for airsoft, but i decided today to try it in my RC car. well needless to say, when i took it out of the car, it was a little swollen and hot. after about 30 mins, the swelling went down but its still slighty swollen. and when i say slightly, i mean very very very little. I measured the Voltage and it read 9.4V. im not sure if i need to dispose of it or can i continue to use it? please help?
im just not sure beacuse everything i have heard about lipos swelling up, they stay swelled up. it back to normal now
Bad . Dispose of it. The rc car could be drawing more current than the LIPO Battery can provide, hence the puffing up of the LIPO. Once this happens, your LIPO is basically toast. That is to say that your LIPO will not be able to perform as good as it used to.
