how do you install a front bushing kit in a 93' civic EX?
my 93' civic's control arm bushings are GONE, not even there
and i was wondering how 2 install a complete front bushing kit
the kit i have is Energy Suspension Poly and the suspension is bone stock

I did my prelude about a year ago with mixed results. I am happy that it reduced/removed wheel hop but it also made the suspension tighter than I wanted it.
1. Get a case of beer. Apply beer when needed.
2. Remove the control arms. (duh)
3. Drill lots of holes in the rubber of the old bushings. The more you drill out the easier the rest is going to be.
4a. Burn the rest of the rubber out. Lots of people sware by this method. I did not do it because I did not want to apply that much heat to the control arms.
4b. Press the bushings out. This method is more complicated but atleast you do not have to start a fire. Use a large socket slightly bigger than the outside diameter of the bushing. Use a small socket the same size as the metal in the middle of the bushing. With a bench vise (the bigger the better) use the small socket as a piston to press the metal part of the bushing into the large socket.
5. Use a hack saw, saw zaw, dremil to cut the metal sleve out. I had to make 3 cuts per sleve to get it to come out easily. Don't over cut!!
6. With a medium grit sand paper sand the inside of the hole.
7. Clean and dry.
8. Apply ES lube and put the new bushings in.
9. Finish the rest of the beer with whoever helped you.
Using the press method it took me an entire day to do ALL my bushings. You could take them to a machine shop and they could have them out in a few minutes with a hydrolic press. If you take them to a shop then you can skip numbers 2-5 (never forget to do number 1).
