Manual focus for children photography?
I recently bought a camera, i was reading aobut manual focus. it seems a excellent options for portraits and im goint to be a newborn and children photographer so, for newborns manual focus is great but with children? they move a lot . so what can i do, put servo focus or manual focus? but i would have to constantly be focusing.
Children or babies move a lot--you have to constantly consider the depth of field. With an adult (like this http://www.flickr.com/photos/little_pooky/4566586519/ ) he stayed still long enough for me to get his eyes in focus.
Give yourself more DOF by using a smaller aperture and you should be able to stay ahead of them.
