When I take my baby for a walk out in the street she wears a baby harness - is it old fashioned?
A friend of mine said reins on a baby is a very old fashioned idea, but I find they are good because I can hold her back, stop her falling over and I know where she is at all times. I dont see many people using them any more, but she is only 18 months old and quite ahead of herself, she gets frustrated in the buggy and likes to walk. I think the harness is an excellent aid to help her. What are your views?
not a bad idea, though i myself am using a harness for my labrador puppy who is seven and a half months old! but i think there is wisdom in keeping the child on the ground and having its own independence too. definitely a good idea.
don't worry about the fashion or what your friend has to say. her child is a different one than yours and every child's mind works differently. its a good thing you are making this adjustment and accomodating her temperament, rahter than simply putting her in a pram or what have you.
