do you need to keep your fish filter cleaner on 24-7?
okay well i got some fishes and a aquiriam. its not huge, but a good size. it came wuth this bubble thing and a filter. now does the filter need to always be on? or do i turn it off at night?? what do i do?
It needs to stay on so that beneficial bacteria begin to colonized your filter cartridge as your tank becomes cycled. If you turn it off the bacteria begin to die.
