New horse I rode today...?
Okay so I recently changed barns and I rode a new horse today and I have this thing where I assess the horses vices so I know whats going on with them and kind of what to expect and stuff. Well the horse I rode today had the following issues:
Didn't respect your space
Head shy
A little spooky
Nips when you put the saddle on
His tail is a little off to the right.
So I kind of linked the saddle issue and the tail off to the right together and obviously he has some back issues but why would a horse have his tail off some. I was thinking maybe he needed his spine aligned? idk...or his previous rider rode a little off to the right and maybe that developed his back more to the right side which caused his tail to be off some?
What do you guys think.

I would agree that a chiropractor would be a GREAT idea for this horse! Issues like this can develop from constant ground mounting or off centered riding among other things and although you said the saddle fits correctly due to the other issues it may still be causing pain which may cause the nipping! Great job taking notice to this horses issues! The horse world could use a few more people like you!
